About Open Doors of Hope
We are a Lexington, Kentucky behavioral health organization committed to compassionate, trauma-informed care that opens doors to healing, stability, and lasting independence.
Our Mission
To open doors to healing, hope, stability, and long-term independence — empowering individuals to create meaningful and lasting change.
Open Doors of Hope LLC was founded on the belief that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and contribute to their community. We exist to provide the support, structure, and compassion that make that possible.
We serve adults in Lexington, Kentucky and the surrounding area who are navigating mental health challenges, recovery, housing instability, and the complex transitions that come with rebuilding a life. Our services are outpatient and community-based, designed to meet people where they are.
Who We Serve
We serve adults in Lexington, Kentucky and the surrounding region who are seeking support for mental health challenges, recovery, housing instability, or the transition to greater independence.
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are in their journey. Whether you are taking your first step or continuing a path you have already started, there is a place for you here.
Our Approach
Trauma-Informed
We recognize that many of the challenges our clients face are rooted in past trauma. Every interaction is grounded in safety, trust, and respect for each person's experience.
Person-Centered
You are the expert on your own life. We build treatment and support plans with you — not for you — and adapt them as your needs and goals evolve.
Whole-Person Wellness
We look beyond symptoms to address the full picture: mental health, housing, relationships, employment, and community connection.
Consistent Support
Healing takes time. We show up consistently, hold space for setbacks, and celebrate every step forward — no matter how small.
Our Values
We do what we say we will do.
Our differences strengthen us.
We challenge ourselves to do our best.
We meet the changing needs of our community.
We support families for healthy children and a strong community.
Everyone has the capacity to grow and contribute to society.
We treat everyone with respect and dignity.
